Training

Yorkshire MESMAC has a long history of delivering training to a variety of professionals across Yorkshire, covering a wide range of issues.

All of our training has been created with our frontline staff to ensure that information is accurate and up to date, as well as representative of the communities with work with.

Our work across Yorkshire brings plenty of different areas of expertise, which we ensure is reflected in our training.

We offer training to professionals across the board, some of which has included: the police, social workers, care home staff, GP surgeries, NHS staff, local councillors and much more.

Sessions can be tailored to your individual needs, ranging from a one-hour session to a whole day.

We offer a variety of different training programmes, including LGB, LGBT+, HIV, Chemsex, consent, FGM and STI Awareness.

We are able to work with individual organisations to meet your specific needs to ensure you get the most out of your training experience. We offer in house training, as well as training from the Yorkshire MESMAC offices.

If you have any queries regarding what training is available in your area, please contact our training co-ordinator, r.ellingham@mesmac.co.uk
