Domestic and Sexual Abuse Support Service Run by Rotherham Rise & Hackenthorpe Lodge


Rotherham Rise provides a service to people experiencing domestic and sexual abuse. 

Domestic abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, or any combination of these. It can be actual, threatened or attempted. Rotherham Rise can provide much needed help and support for men, women and children affected by domestic abuse. Rise takes referrals from all over the country from a variety of sources. Rotherham Rise accept self-referrals or referrals by other agencies such as other refuges, social services and the police.

We can provide our services in our women’s centre or our men’s centre to provide a safe place for a survivor of domestic or sexual abuse.

Hackenthorpe Lodge has a team of friendly professionals, who work 24/7 to help people that have been affected by sexual abuse or sexual violence. The service is completely confidential and you do not have to give any personal information in order to get help. You do not have to report to the police in order to use this service.
