Trans & Non Binary: Gender outreach work

We host gender outreach workers from Leeds GIC (Gender Identity Clinic) / LGIS (Leeds Gender Identity Services). The Gender Outreach Workers support people over the age of 18. The team host a range of events, drop-in sessions, group meetings and one-to-one support sessions for trans and non-binary people

Drop-in Sessions

The drop-in sessions are designed to be a friendly and open opportunity to ask questions and explore particular topics and themes. People are free to drop in at any point during these session times and leave whenever they like.

Social/Support Groups

Support and social groups are an informal and friendly way to meet and socialise with other trans and non-binary people. It is an opportunity to share experiences, gain peer support as well as gain additional help, support and advice from the gender outreach workers.

One to One Support Sessions

If you have not already done so and would like to have a one-to-one session with one of the Gender Outreach Workers, please contact us at genderoutreachworker.lypft@nhs.net. These one-to-one sessions are available specifically for all those on the waiting list to be seen at the GIC. The sessions are there for you to ask questions and gain additional help and support during this interim period whilst you are on the waiting list.
