Leeds Gay Community Community run group
LGC (Leeds Gay Community) was founded in September 1982 and is the direct descendant of gay groups which had been meeting since 1971. We meet regularly on Friday evenings, usually at the Yorkshire MESMAC office at 22-23 Blayd's Yard, Leeds, LS1 4AD (map at page end) at 7pm.
Our main aim has always been to provide a hassle-free space where gay and bisexual men can meet and be themselves and, hopefully, make new friends.
We welcome men of all ages, though as we are a long established group, most of our members are 50+.
Although we are a members only group, visitors are very welcome. If visitors turn up for more than three meetings, we invite them to join us. Membership costs £12 per year (£6 for non-earners).
