ReachOUT is a support and advocacy charity for LGBTI refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. Open to all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Intersex refugees & asylum seekers.
ReachOUT is a safe place for those who have had to flee their home countries because of the fear of physical or structural violence and discrimination directed towards them because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. The purpose of the group is for LGBTI refugees and asylum seekers to come and make friends, develop a sense of community and boost confidence by learning new skills through capacity building activities. ReachOUT is also for organisations, agencies and friends of the LGBT+ or refugee services communities who seek to further their understanding of the issues faced by this group.
We meet at 2-4pm every other Tuesday. Our meetings are fun, welcoming and inclusive, and we are always looking for new people! To get in touch about attending a meeting or for more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Jess MacIntyre on 07707 809925. Visit their website at: reachoutleeds.org.
