This system runs in parallel with a system devised for geographical communities. Yorkshire MESMAC is a member of the CoIWG and helped to organise a briefing event for local service planners to raise awareness of the issues and needs of communities of interest. Yorkshire MESMAC also helped to produce the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Communities Action Plan, which sets out the issues and needs of our communities, according to Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s five priorities, one of which is health. The Action Plan has been fed into Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s consultation and service planning processes. [top]
