The BLAST Project believes that all boys and young men have the right to feel safe and enjoy a happy and healthy life which is free from neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse and sexual abuse. BLAST takes what is said by boys and young men very seriously and will take every effort to listen, clarify and take appropriate action when necessary.
What you say will only be told to others for your safety and well being and the safety and well being of others.

This guidance was released by the Government in June 2009.
West Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Boards’ Protocol and Practitioner Guidance. Safeguarding Children and Young People from Child Sexual Exploitation.
Released in 2008, this guidance comes with a child sexual exploitation risk assessment matrix.
